Direct Bank Tansfer (BACS) Woocommerce Setup Instructions
Setting up Direct Bank Transfer (BACS) in WooCommerce is a simple process that allows your customers to transfer money directly to your bank account.
Follow these steps to set up:
1. Activating the Payment Method
- Log in to the WordPress admin area.
- Go to WooCommerce > Settings .
- Click the Payments tab .
- Find the Direct Bank Transfer (BACS) option .
- Turn on the toggle and click the Manage/Set Up button .
2. Set up Bank Details
On the administration page, fill in the following fields:
- Enable/Disable: Make sure “Enable Direct Bank Transfer” is checked.
- Title: How it will appear to customers (e.g. “Bank Deposit”).
- Description: Short instructions (e.g. “Order will be shipped once deposit is confirmed”).
- Instructions: Detailed instructions (e.g. “Please use the order number as the deposit reason”).
- Account Details:
- Account Name: The name of the beneficiary.
- Account Number: Your account number.
- IBAN: The International Bank Account Number (IBAN).
- Bank Name: (e.g. Alpha Bank, Piraeus Bank, Eurobank).
- BIC/SWIFT: (Optional, useful for international transfers).
Click Save changes .
