1. Generate a keyword list

Sometimes thats not true, Google and most search engines work with your local browser cache and make use of your personal results from previous searches.  Your localization settings and social media activities are more factors to consider. 4. Get external links to your website:

5. Use domain Level keywords:

If your keyword matches exactly the domain name of your website then you have a competitive advantage for SEO. Basicaly if you are thinking to register a new keyword for your website’s domain name avoid hyphens if possible. If you prefer to register a brand name instead, then add some page level keywords

6. Use page Level keywords:

Put your keyword first in the page title http://www.yourdomain.com/keyword also put it in the heading. Add keywords inside your text content and use them as image titles at your images. Avoid too many repetitions though.

7. Use Meta tags:

Make sure that all the pages of the site have unique meta titles and descriptions. Place Important Keywords Close to the Front of the Title Tag. Using keywords in title tags means that search engines will highlight those terms in the search results when a user performs a query using the keywords.

8. Site Performance:

Page load and page speed is becoming a bigger ranking factor. Speeding up websites is important to all Internet users. Analyse your website speed here https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights and keep in mind that lesser the loading time lesser the bounce rate.

9. Emphasise your text:

Use the following tags and help both your readers and the search engines

header tags – <h1> through <h6>

<b>bold tag</b>

Italic <i>tag</i>

<em>Emphasized</em> Text!


10. Make SEO-friendly URLs

search engines and your visitors like to see URLs that don’t contain long query strings. Many developers, web designers and content management systems dont use seo-friendly URLs so make sure to rewrite them to look like this http://www.lowandflow.gr/morewood-bikes/  and not like this http://sportstrader.gr/index.php?option=com_content&;view=article&id=1&Itemid=3
